This page is a step-by-step How-To for guest blogging. If you follow these directions, you shoudn't have any trouble posting answers to the Discovery Student questions. The current Guest Blogging question is also posted here for your convinience. If you have any questions about this process, please e-mail me at benjamin.wilkoff@dcsdk12.org.

Current Guest Blogging Question:

Option A: Who was the teacher that had the greatest affect on you, either good or bad (or, other stories from classroom)?

Option B: Which is better: work or school?

Former Guest Blogging Questions:

What is the most important decision you have ever had to make?

How-To write a Guest Blog Post:

  1. Log-in to Edublogs using the two tiny forms at the top of the screen. These two forms are designated U: (for user name) and P: (for password). The user name is Discoveryguestblog, but if you still need the password, please e-mail me (benjamin.wilkoff@dcsdk12.org). It should look like this:
    • FrontpageEdublogs

  1. If you have done this right, your screen should look like this:
    • Helloblog.jpg

  1. To write a blog post, click on the Write button found here:
    • Helloblog

  1. Type out your answer to the students' question in the "Post Box." You can format the text by clicking on the editing tools above the box:
    • PostForm

  1. If you don't have time to write out your entire answer, please click the save button. You can come back to the draft later by clicking on the drafts at the top of the write page:

  1. If you are finished with your answer, click on the publish button. (I would copy the entire text of your answer right before you do this just to make sure that your internet connection, browser, or the blog server don't accidentally erase all of your hard work.):
    • Postbutton

  1. You are done. I hope you enjoyed participating in the Discovery Guest Blogging project this week.
